Women Commission, Bellary Diocese led Pilgrimage during Jubilee Year: Ballari: Sep 26-01Oct, 2025

A Week-long pilgrimage undertaken by the Women Commission of Bellary Diocese starting from Sept. 26 to Oct 1, 2025.

In response to Pope Francis’ invitation to journey in faith during the Jubilee Year of Hope, the pilgrimage was undertaken.

Around 104 members of Women Commission from all over the diocese including their family members accompanied by two priests namely Frs. Leo Micheal, dean of Bellary deanery and Fr Rayappa T, Asst Director, BDDS enthusiastically participated in this spiritual renewal program.

“The main highlights of the program are a thorough orientation by the priests who accompanied, visit to the tomb of St Thomas, the Apostle at Mylapore , St Thomas Mount , Shrine of Annai Velankanni at Velankanni and St Mary’s Church, Poondi. It was indeed like a spiritual retreat experience,” Mrs Josphine said.

It was organized by the Bellary Diocesan Women Commission led by Mrs. Sheela Das, Secretary, Mrs. Josphine Reddy Chairperson and their team.
