Large Congregation witnessed Golden Jubilee celebrations of Siruguppa Mission: Siruguppa, 27 OCT 2025.

Large congregation joyfully celebrated the golden jubilee of the St Teresa of Little Flower Church, Siruguppa and JMJ Sisters Mission in Siruguppa on 27 th October, 2025 at St Teresa of Little Flower Church, Siruguppa. The celebrations included a concelebrated thanksgiving Mass presided by Bp Henry D’Souza. On that occasion Bishop Ambrose P Yeddanapalli OFM, Bishop of Bellary (1964-1992), the pioneers and members of JMJ Congregation who worked hard to build up the Mission were gratefully recalled.

The celebrations climaxed with a cultural program organized by JMJ Sisters, School Children and the Parishioners. The solemn jubilee Mass was well attended by a large congregation. The highlight of the jubilee event was the Journey of Faith and transformation in the lives of people in Siruguppa and its surrounding areas through the pastoral, medical and educational ministries Congrats to Fr Sunil Kumar, Parish Priest, JMJ Sisters, the jubilee organizing team and the parishioners.

The jubilee celebration was well attended by large number of priests from the diocese of Bellary and local school heads and students. A traditional welcome with drum beats by the children of the local school led the gathering into a jubilant mood.
