With profound sadness we inform you that
Rev. Fr. Archibald Correa
of Bellary Diocese, residing at Bethany Senior Priests’ Home, Ballari, passed away on 3rd June at 11.30 p.m. at St Mary’s Hospital, due to age-related issues.
He was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital over a month ago and was under intensive treatment, where he breathed his last peacefully and gracefully. The Bishop of Bellary administered the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and made the Last Commendation.
His mortal remains are kept at the mortuary of Ballari Medical College Hospital.

To enable paying homage, his remains will be kept on Saturday , 6th June at 6.00 a.m in Bethany Senior Priests Home, Cantonment, Bellary. And at St Antony’s Cathedral, Cowl Bazaar Bellary at 8.00a.m. The Funeral Mass, presided over by Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary will take place at the Cathedral at 10.a.m. It will be followed by procession to the Cowl Bazaar Cemetery and burial.

He was a zealous priest, a hardworking pastor, a zealous missionary and ever willing to help others particularly his visit to the sick and the poor are commendable. He was a man always seeking fellowship and happily, fostered companionship among the fellow priests.

Arrangements are being done for live-streaming the funeral service.
