BELLARY, APR 19: 64 young persons contemplating marriage took part in the marriage preparation courses organized by the Diocesan Laity Commission at Mudgal and Bellary.
In the two-day programme, 53 youth attended at Mudgal parish and another 11 at Bellary.
Diocesan Judicial Vicar Fr. Lourdusamy, Commission Secretary Fr. Mari Joseph, Parish Priest of Mudgal Fr MD Vincent, Parish Priest of Cathedral Fr. Charles D’Souza, Fr. Thomas Santhosh, Fr. Francis Chinnappa and Bro. Anand were the resource persons.
The programme sensitized the participants on the social and sacramental aspects of marriage. The Biblical view of marriage and the church’s teachings on marriage was also presented.
