BELLARY, DEC. 08: An impressive Annual Sports Meet was held at Vianney Vidyalaya on Dec. 7, here at Bellary.
Hundreds of parents and guests witnessed the colourful and well organized sports and cultural events in which over 800 school students participated.
After taking salute at the colourful march fast, Bishop of Bellary stated, “With God’s grace, nothing is impossible for human beings. God supports and strengthens human efforts and brings success to them.”
Bishop D’Souza lauded the discipline of the students and dedication of the management and staff of the school and urged them to “mould the students into excellent citizens for the country in the school.”
“The students of Catholic students should learn to respect human rights, promote communal harmony, be proud of the rich cultural heritage of India and foster a strong civil society around them”, Bishop added.
Fr. Arokianathan, School Manager led the impressive sports meet and Ms. Saraswati, School Principal welcomed the gathering.
Mr. Kempe Rangaiah, Block Education Officer of Bellary west was the guest of honour at the event.
