Over 150 children joyfully take part in Children’s Talent Festival
BELLARY 28 NOV 2023:

A Talent Festival for Children was held at Bellary Deanery level on 26 th November 2023 at St. Antony Pastoral Centre. It was organized by the Catholic Association, Bellary.

The festival was arranged on the occasion of the Children’s Day. The festival was organised in two phases. In the first phase, it was held at the parish-level on Nov 19. Then the winners were selected to participate at the deanery level.

The festival was held at two levels: Primary, Higher Primary and High School. The topic for elocution was: “Jesus my Saviour and God” and the action song was based on biblical themes. The winners were awarded certificates and mementos.

The winners:
The Program was inaugurated by Bishop Henry D’ Souza, Bishop of Bellary. He appreciated the joyful and enthusiastic participation of the children. He urged them to appreciate their Catholic faith and to grow up like young Jesus who as the Holy Bible states: “Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.”

The program was aimed at identifying and promoting young talents in the diocese for fostering leadership in society and deepening the faith in the children.

The members of the Catholic Association Ballari particularly Mr. Y. Joseph, President, Mr. Felix Brangaza, Mr. Suby Mathew, Dr. Deepak Bille, Mr. Y.B. Joseph, Mr. Varaprasad, Mr. Joseph, Mr. Sunil Reddy, Mrs. Arogyamary, Mrs. Suguna, Mrs. Louiza, and their team did the excellent and commendable job under the leadership of Rev. Fr Ivan Pinto.
